Borga Ekonomi is one of the most popular profiled metal sheets. It can be used in places where loading capacity requirements are not critical and in many different places where complicated construction bases are not required. The Ekonomi metal sheet is perfectly suitable for buildings whose construction skeleton is made of wood, for example. It can also be used as a covering for roofs and elevations. It is easy to assemble and can be delivered in dimensions ordered which results in lower costs and lower material wastage. This is what our customers deserve.

Assembly instructions of Borga Ekonomi Sheet

We recommend using screws for the assembly of metal sheet on walls and roofs. The choice of screw depends on the type of material onto which profiled metal sheets are to be assembled. Borga has a complete selection of screws designed for the assembly of metal sheets.

Fastening of the Borga Ekonomi metal sheet should be carried out in the following order:
– One screw in every other bottom section of the profile on: the ridge, links transverse and eaves
– One screw in every third bottom section of the profile in central slats
– Overlap screw assembled on oblong joint at a max. distance of 500 mm

Up to 6 screws/m should be used for assembling metal sheets, they should be screwed to slats and 2 overlaps 2 screws/m .

Warning! It is important to remember to secure screws to the ridge and to other fastenings.

Closure Strip

Under the ridge the insulation can be fitted using our profiled clouser strips to prevent snow and water getting under the metal sheet.

Paint System

Borga Ekonomi is delivered with the well and long used paintsystems plastisol or polyester. No matter which solution you choose, we guarantee a minimum durability of 10 years on the painted surface.
