Steam Insulation is a necessary part of roofs insulation. Its task is not to admit the arising indoor dampness to reach the thermal insulation's layer.

Anti-condensative controller "MPF" – its appliance is only possible on roofs with build roof membranes in its constructions.

Using roof membrane under fundamental roofing allows solving the common problem of water vapour drips accumulating between sheetrock and steam insulation. The dampness excess in such place may occurs if the loft rooms ventilation is not constantly, or periodically efficient. Counteracting such events it is best to install not the regular steam insulation, but the material called water vapour controller assuring water vapour to the thermal insulation flow. The products of this type are also called “active Steam insulators”. Its usage is justified by periodical air dampness changes inside the loft rooms. As it turns out it is difficult to match all the rooms’ ventilation system elements in order to eliminate the possibility of dampness accumulating under the steam insulation of increased diffusion resistance. That is why if initial covering layer is a roof membrane (of high steam permeability FWK) one may apply steam controller so that steam excesses could get through thermal insulation, and get out outside the roof – to the atmosphere.
